Kaley oversees branding, marketing and outreach for the Office of Student Engagement, Advocacy & Leadership. Areas of interest include graphic design, social media management, web content management systems and videography.

I’ve always been a bit of a “busy bee.” I love meeting new people and becoming involved. I was that kid who would go from yearbook to STUCO, to Big Brothers Big Sisters, to softball and then to theater to finish the night. My life is color-coded in a calendar.

When I was young, I said I would become an architect. That idea quickly faded after realizing all the math and science class requirements. Design is something that has always intrigued me. I moved from architecture to interior design, then found my path to graphic design. My passion for graphic design is what led to my interest in communication.

People often ask me, “What are you going to do with a communication degree?” I have given that question much thought, but endless possibilities flow into my mind. There is so much I want to do. I have a passion for helping others, taking on new challenges or experiences, and working together to create something amazing.

In 2019, I graduated with my BA in integrated marketing communication with a minor in graphic design. Since that time, I’ve been working at Wichita State University as a marketing coordinator.

In my free time, I enjoy using my Regal Unlimited membership, cuddling with my dog, doing something crafty, or laying on the couch rewatching “Supernatural.”
